NY-USA Proud Employer of Distinction Award

The NY-USA Proud Employer of Distinction Award is presented to New York State businesses that have gone above and beyond what’s required by law, to better accommodate the needs of their military employees.

For this extraordinary effort, we thank and commend these New York State employers by presenting them with the NY-USA Proud Award. The award signifies New York’s appreciation and publicly acknowledges that the recipient has shown exceptional support for their military personnel.

Any New York State business that employ one or more members of the military, including military reservists and National Guard members, are eligible to receive the NY-USA Proud Award. Applications must describe how the business has provided support to their military employees, beyond what’s required by law. Businesses may nominate themselves, be nominated by their employee(s), or by any other source.

Nominators will receive an e-mail confirmation notice. In addition, a certificate suitable for display in their place of business will be mailed to the nominee within 4 weeks.
