Recognizing New York’s employers that support our military personnel

The Patriot Plan was created to provide a broad array of benefits and enhanced protections to New York’s military personnel, including military reservists and National Guard members. The Plan is designed to assist troops and their families who face potential hardships as a result of their active duty service.

America's fighting forces comprise 2.5 million members -- half of whom serve in the Reserves, the National Guard and state militias. There are 21,000 New York members of the National Guard, Air National Guard, Naval Militia and the New York Guard.
